Privacy & safety

Blocking, reporting, and how InterChat keeps you and your information safe.

• Blocking someone Stops them contacting you or seeing your content — and it works both ways.
• Reporting and what happens next How to report, what we do about it, and how to appeal.
• Who can see your profile You control your photo, bio, last-seen and stories — your name and username are always visible.
• Is InterChat end-to-end encrypted? No. Messages are encrypted in transit, but not end-to-end.
• Avoiding scams Never send money for "prayer fees" or to someone you haven't verified.
• Child safety on InterChat Zero tolerance for child exploitation, and how to report it.
